Currently Tara is the Chief Clinical Officer.Tara graduated from Walsh University in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences\, and then continued at Walsh to receive her master’s degree in counseling and human development. While finishing her master’s degree\, she worked at Trillium Family Solutions as an Adult Protective Services Investigator. She holds her LPCC-S counseling licensure in Ohio\, and continues to provide therapy to a small caseload of individuals. \nShe currently serves on the Executive Steering Committee for the Stark County Suicide Collation\, and previously served on the board for the Domestic Violence Project\, Inc. in Stark County.  She has a passion for raising awareness in the community on difficult but essential topics related to mental health\, trauma\, domestic violence awareness\, and suicide prevention through teaching\, training and advocacy. She currently reside in Summit County with my husband and two daughters\, Brooklyn\, 11 and Riley\, 9.\n\n\n\n\nKennadi Adams has been employed with Phoenix Rising since 2020. First as an intern\, then as a licensed marriage and family therapist\, and currently as an independently licensed marriage and family therapist since 2024. In December of 2025 she transitioned into an administrative role within the agency. Currently she is the Alliance administrative director.  \nKennadi graduated from Notre Dame College in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in counseling and went to The University of Akron for her master’s degree in Marriage and Family therapy. She holds her IMFT licensure in Ohio and continues to provide therapy to a small case load of families\, couples\, and individuals. She currently serves on the opiate and addiction task force and Drug free Stark County and has a passion for raising awareness in the community on topics related to mental health\, addiction\, self-care and healthy relationship building. She currently resides in Stark County with her boyfriend and their dog.  \n\n\n\n\nTeghan Boggs is currently a clinical mental health counseling student at Malone University. She is interning with Phoenix Rising Behavioral Healthcare and Recovery in the counseling department. \nTeghan started her counseling practicum in the summer of 2025 with Phoenix and is now in her last semester of program and internship. She enjoys working with a variety of different populations and presenting concerns\, and I focus on teaching healthy boundaries and conflict resolution skills as part of her practice. She is looking forward to continuing her career as a mental health counselor.\n\n\n\nRachel Conner has worked in the community mental health field since 2014\, initially working with at risk youth and families as an Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant. In 2017\, Rachel began working as an Art Therapist/Counselor with Phoenix Rising and in recent years additionally works as the Director of Case Management. She holds her LPCC-S & LPAT licensure and is an AATA Board Certified Art Therapist.Rachel is dedicated to providing compassionate care and art therapy to individuals to promote healing through the creative process. She has helped lobby for the passing of licensure of art therapy in Ohio and has organized art exhibits with local art therapists to promote community awareness to the astounding power of art therapy.

Dan participated in cohort one of JumpStart’s Impact Program and has utilized many of the small businesses services Jumpstart provides to advance the work of Rust Belt Riders. Prior to his founding of Rust Belt Riders\, Dan held roles at Cleveland Neighborhood Progress\, LAND Studio\, and Saint Martin De Porres High School. \n  \nDan is a graduate of DePaul University where he studied Ethics and Community Service Studies. \n \nHelene Papczun is a dedicated leader in economic development\, currently serving as the Director of Business Development & Engagement. In this role\, she proactively connects with over 200 businesses annually in Stark County\, providing essential resources\, incentives\, and connections to help them overcome challenges and achieve their growth goals. \nSince 2012\, Helene has been a key player in the economic development scene\, focusing on workforce development\, business outreach\, and facilitating government contracting opportunities. She loves bringing together private\, public\, and non-profit partners to create a supportive environment for Stark County’s vibrant business community. \nIn addition to her direct work with businesses\, Helene is a Stark County Business Community Advisor for JumpStart’s Impact Program\, where she continues to drive meaningful changes and support local enterprises. She also serves on the Northeast Ohio Development Exchange (NODE) Board of Directors. \nHelene holds a B.A. in History from Heidelberg University\, blending her academic background with a passion for empowering businesses and enhancing community development. \n  \nLydia F. Lee is a dedicated Program Director at the Stark County Minority Business Association\nin Canton\, Ohio. She leads the Expanding Resources for All mentorship program\, empowering\nseasoned business owners to grow through education and mentorship. She also oversees the\nInnovation Academy/Youth Entrepreneur Program\, helping middle school students—particularly\nminority and underserved youth—develop entrepreneurial skills and learn how to launch their\nown businesses. \nPreviously\, Lydia served as a Training Specialist and Coordinator at Stark State College from\n2006 to 2022\, where she developed and coordinated workshops to help new students excel in\ncollege entrance exams\, reducing the need for developmental courses. She created the\n“Computer Bare Basics” (CBB) workshop\, which provided essential computer skills to\nnon-traditional students and community members\, boosting confidence for academic\,\nworkplace\, and personal success. \nLydia holds a Bachelor of Business Management from Malone College and brings a wealth of skills in business planning\, computer training\, visual design\, and leadership. Cordova\, Family Court Judge\nKathy Catazaro Perry: Executive Director for Community Building Partnership\nCatherine Farina-Molnar\n\nModerator: Pam Lung \nHonorable Michelle L. Cordova: Prior to taking the Family Court bench in January 2023\, Judge Michelle Cordova served as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for 26 years in Stark and Summit Counties\, including 16 years as Chief Juvenile Prosecutor in Stark County Family Court. She also served as a General Felony Courtroom Prosecutor\, Child Sexual Assault Specialist\, and a Civil Prosecutor. In her role as Chief Juvenile Prosecutor\, she assisted in designing and overseeing the Stark County Juvenile Drug Court program\, and she initiated the Traffic Offender Diversion Program. \nJudge Cordova grew up in Stark County. She is a graduate of Perry High School\, Ohio University\, and the University of Akron School of Law. She is licensed to practice law in the Supreme Court of Ohio\, the US District Court for the Northern District of Ohio\, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals\, and the United States Supreme Court. Judge Cordova is a member of the Stark County Bar Association\, the Ohio Bar Association\, Ohio Association of Domestic Relations Judges\, and the Ohio Association of Juvenile Court Judges. \nJudge Cordova is President of the Board of Directors of Refuge of Hope Ministries\, and serves meals there on weekends. She serves on the Stark County Opiate and Addiction Task Force and the Stark County Anti-Human Trafficking Coalition. She is an active member of Women’s Impact Inc and the Junior League of Stark County. She and her husband Andrew have four adult children\, one grandchild\, and two dogs. \nKathy Catazaro Perry is the executive director for Community Building Partnership. Kathy served as Mayor of Massillon from 2012-2023. Prior to serving as Mayor\, Kathy served as the council representative for Massillon’s Third Ward for eight years.  \nCatazaro-Perry holds a master’s degree in business administration from Walsh University\, a bachelor’s degree in business management from Malone University\, and an associate degree in science\, (RN) from Stark State College. Kathy is also a graduate of Leadership Stark County 23rd class\, as well as the Leadership Stark County Local Government Academy.  \nKathy is currently a board member of Stark Mental Health and Addiction Recovery. She is a member of Massillon Woman’s Club\, Massillon Quota International\, Stop Heroin from Killing Committee\, Aultman’s Woman’s Board\, Walsh University Women’s Committee\, and board President of the Rolling Panthers. Mayor Catazaro Perry is past Chairperson of both the Community Health Foundation of Massillon\, and the Stark County Library Foundation. She is a past member of the Stark Development Board of trustees\, past member of Strengthening Stark Governance Board\, past member of Massillon Homeless Task Force\, as well as a past board member of the Massillon Boys & Girls Club. Mayor Catazaro-Perry is the past-vice president of the local board for the OneOhio Recovery Foundation\, an Ohio non-profit corporation that governs the state and local government’s use of the allocation of Ohio’s share of the opioid settlement proceeds. \nKathy has received numerous honors for her community and public service including\, the Gaetano Mattioli Cecchini Humanitarian Award\, the Ohio Public Image Award\, which recognizes individuals who create positive public awareness for those with disabilities\, Rotarian of the Year Mayor Catazaro-Perry was inducted into the Stark State University Alumni Hall of Fame and the YWCA Woman’s Hall of Fame in 2014 for Community Service.  She received the 2014 VFW Post 3124 Veterans of Foreign Wars of the U.S. Special Recognition for Exceptional Service\, the prestigious 2014 Athena Leadership Award\, the 2014 Malone University Leadership Excellence Award\, the 2022 NSME National Sales and Marketing Accent on Excellence award\, the MDF Harold Bostic Award for 2022 from the Massillon WestStark Chamber of Commerce\, the Rabbi John Spitzer Leadership Award and the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Stark County Board of Developmental Disabilities in 2023 for her long-time dedication and advocacy for people with special needs. Mayor Catazaro-Perry was recognized as the 2020 Person of the Year\, About Magazine. \nCatherine Farina-Molnar is a dedicated public administrator with a wealth of experience in local government operations and community development. Mayor Stephan B. Wilder appointed Catherine to Director of Administration for the City of North Canton in 2024. She is the first woman to hold the Chief Administrative role since the city adopted its charter in 1962. In her role\, Catherine leads initiatives to improve municipal services\, foster economic growth\, and enhance the quality of life for North Canton’s 18\,000 residents. \nPrior to being appointed to her current role\, Catherine served as Deputy Director of Administration for 7 years and a project manager.  Her diverse background includes over 20 years of experience in human resource management across public\, private\, and nonprofit sectors. \nCatherine serves as Secretary of the North Canton Community Improvement Corporation\, is on the North Canton Housing Council\, serves on the board of the North Canton Chamber of Commerce and the North Canton YMCA.  She is a non-voting member on the city planning commission and zoning board of appeals.  She is a former Canton Jaycee and a founding member of the Stark County Autism Awareness Network.  Her leadership philosophy is rooted in transparency\, innovation\, and a commitment to inclusive community growth.  Her proudest accomplishment is the creation of the North Canton Possibility Playground at Dogwood Park.  The first fully inclusive\, adaptive playground in the city\, which won the Ohio Parks & Recreation Association’s Governor’s Award for the best Playground Development in the State of Ohio in 2022. \nRegister now!
