Cenell Munford-Clark brings her positive message of Resilience to the 2018 Women’s Imapct, Inc. Kick-Off Lunch. She continues to demonstrate her commitment to never giving up as a licensed and certified athletic trainer and community health professional.

Guided by a belief that wellness involves the mind, body and spirit; she practices what she preaches as teacher, practitioner and founder/president of a not-for-profit that focuses on providing health and wellness resources to the community.

A Canton native, who currently resides in Columbus, Cenell has appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show (2007) and was inducted into the Stark County YWCA Women’s Hall of Fame in recognition of her commitment to community health and fitness.

A Licensed, Certified Athletic Trainer and Health Professional for Columbus Fitness Consultants, Columbus, Ohio; Cenell is also the Founder and President of C & C Wellness, Inc., the non-profit organization she established (twice in different cities) to provide health and wellness resources to the community. Cenell also co-produced Losing Baby Fat, a wellness video for women (Copyright 2004).

Prior to relocating to Columbus, Cenell enjoyed a 12-year teaching career as an Assistant Professor in the fields of health, exercise science and athletic training in the department of Human Performance and Sports Business at the University of Mount Union in Alliance, Ohio.

Cenell earned a Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Akron and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Sports Medicine from the University of Mount Union. Cenell completed doctoral coursework in Exercise Science and Public Health and then decided to redirect her career and is now completing her Doctoral degree in Health Sciences at Rocky Mountain University in Provo, Utah.

Cenell counts it a blessing to be the mother of two sons Daniel Lee Clark (13 years old) and Fendrich Randall Clark Jr. (16 years old).
